Product Description

The Metal Arc Ring Packing, or VSP Packing, is a unique and specialized packing solution. It features a metal filler in the shape of a wreath, known as the memmel ring filler. The filler is available in various sizes, including the Mellaring Top, which is the larger model.

The ring opening wall of the packing is cut into multiple strips, which are then bent into circular arcs along the ring's axial direction. This creates a distinctive wreath or lantern-like shape. Additionally, the packing contains 40 and 25 products of one arc ring, with curved holes arranged in 2-3 rows along the radial direction.

The Metal Arc Ring, or VSP, is designed to enhance gas/liquid contact on easily wettable surfaces. It promotes the formation of droplets as the liquid cascades through the packed bed, ensuring excellent liquid mixing and consistent distribution. The open non-testing structure of the ring enables high efficiency and a very low pressure drop, resulting in optimal gas-liquid distribution.
